The human body is an incredibly complex and well-organized biological system made up of 11 major organ systems. Each organ system consists of a group of organs that work together to perform specific life-sustaining functions. While every system has its own unique role, such as transporting oxygen, digesting food, controlling body activities, or protecting against disease, no organ system works alone. Instead, they continuously interact and support one another to maintain the body's internal balance, known as homeostasis. Understanding these organ systems helps us appreciate how the human body functions as one coordinated unit, where every organ plays an important role in keeping us healthy and alive.
